These Aquasphere goggles are the best pair of noodling goggles I have. You want to make sure to have a clear lense goggle for noodling to give you the best clarity. I like these because they give you the same field of view bigger profile goggles, but without the nose piece. I have found that the nose piece goggles tend to fog up the lenses a lot more than the Aquaspheres.
Once you get the catfish out of the hole and to the surface a landing net is very useful to throw the fish in. Once they get to the surface they often roll around a lot, so having a net to put them in decreases the chance you miss them. With this net I will just take the pole off and swim around with the actual net.
If you want a little protection from those sandpaper teeth, any pair of gardening gloves will help. I like these because they fit tightly to your hands. If the glove is too loose the catfish can bite it off, which results in you loosing a glove and a big fish!
