I bought three "Steel Bakery Bread Racks" from a local bankrupt grocery store. Pros:
* I spent less money than building a wooden rack, and also saved on labor time.
* One rack can hold 20 organizers
* The racks are on wheels and can be easily moved around the workshop.
* Gave a second life to things, saved them from the landfill, and protected nature from garbage.

I like the shelves that don't extend across because the contents of each tray is visible from above without fully removing each tray from the storage bin rack. L aluminum pieces to hold each tray, can allow more trays per storage rack.

You just answer the questions with a chill demeanor and good explanation. I like your style.

Proper engineering. No need to over engineer the shelves when the items going in them can support their own weight. Beautiful work

Well, finally, I happened back across your channel. I'd just found your channel from another YouTube short you did on a different subject and had been intending to check out some of your build videos and then my old phone committed suicide on April 14th, 2024. A week before my long-awaited knee replacement surgery. Due to the nature of the failure of the unit, I lost all that stuff. So, I recognized you and your teaching style and joined your channel this time.

I made one of these under my work bench 8 years ago and it's been perfect all that time...such a great storage for the workshop for small parts and screws

I built a similar rack for my wife to use in her business. The racks hold 8 small or 4 deep organizers and use 1/2” aluminum angle for the rails. They interlock when stacked and can be moved when loaded due to their size.

Very nice and well organized! I'd take a system like that any day!

That is cool! Enter bad pun: nice rack! LOL That storage rack, to me, seems pretty simple to add onto. Just put a new "box", so to speak on top of the original. Boom! You're done. 😊😊😊

I built a duplicate of your rack for Stanley containers years ago. Its nice that the Harbor Freight containers are the same size. Didnt find a need for the stops, but mine is a fixed cabinet.

Adam Savage built a similar shelving unit for his sortimo system. He added drawer sliders so he can use them in place without needing to pull his sorting units out and find a horizontal surface elsewhere. Doing that also makes them less likely to accidentally tip over and spill all your stuff on the floor since they don't need to move.

I’m doing this for my tackle boxes that don’t get too much use. Great idea.

I have one almost exactly like that but FULL of inshore, offshore, beach and jetty tackle.
