For anyone commenting about how the table isn't accurate, this is just an estimate to what your GPA will translate into. The conversion depends on a dozen factors and I already mention to get it done through WES. As mentioned, it takes about a month to do that. This is a rough estimate which comes close to the actual thing.

Hi, I recently spoke to admission committee of Northeastern University. Their eligibility criteria is 3.0 GPA and they said that it is equivalent to 8.0 CGPA in India. I understand that things may have changed in the past 2 years, since this video was created. But can you please suggest if this conversion table still stands true.

Hi Yash!,
I am graduated from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University..
As far as I know CGPA will always ne greater then the percentage (76% = 8 CGPA)
But as of my results I got 73% but the CGPA written is 7.16
So if I want to apply to any university in Canada, do I need to recalculate the CGPA with this formula..
