The tracks are so fitting for the anime. Chilling, unnerving yet nostalgic and calming somehow. The whole movie has stuck with me ever since I watched it and it made a huge impact on me. Seriously one of the best things to ever watch.

I love this mix so much. This is one of the series that I love the most, it's very dear and special to me. I'm so glad that it's still (unsurprisingly) relevant to this day. I first watched it about 20 years ago, it was so ahead of its time!

Had the Blu-Ray in my collection for like a decade but never got around to finishing it. This ambient compilation might just have inspired me to do that, though. The vibe is just... immaculate. Like a perfect synthesis of recognisably 90s dark/tribal ambient and electronica, creating an atmosphere that is simulataneously calming, ethereal, otherwordly, ominious, mysterious and peaceful.
