José James (vocals) performs "Lovely Day" alongside Helio Alves (piano), Brian Blade (drums), James Genus (bass), Grégoire Maret (harmonica), Pedrito Martinez (percussion) and Mark Whitfield (guitar) as part of the International Jazz Day 2022 All-Star Global Concert on April 30, 2022.

The International Jazz Day 2022 All-Star Global Concert streamed live from the UN General Assembly Hall in New York, featuring dozens of acclaimed artists affirming the importance of jazz as a means of achieving unity and peace through dialogue and diplomacy.

Major support for International Jazz Day is provided by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. Air transportation and additional support for artists and educators is provided by United Airlines, the airline partner of International Jazz Day.

Saw Jose James for the 1st time in Rotterdam 2019 at NSJ. He was brilliant but this performance is magical with talented musicians. NICE!!!

This is so excellent. One question: how come Mark Whitfield who really juices this performance gets no visual credits as do others? Doesn't seem quite so lovely only in that respect. If Mark doesn't''t care then all good. I keep coming back to this as it is SO good.
