Abu Dhabi to Dubai by train: a glimpse of a passenger journey with Etihad Rail

The National boarded Etihad Rail’s inspection train from Saih Shuaib in Abu Dhabi to Dubai to get a taste of the national rail network’s passenger services.

Rail transportations are the best. Safe, fast and you don't have to focus on the road plus you can indeed do some work, relax and or watch something like the news or have conversations with your families and friends. I don't know why rail transportation doesn't get priorities everywhere instead of highways.

This is exciting news. I would love to go on this train. I have been to Abu Dhabi and Dubai a couple times and always traveled by car between those 2 cities. .

this is more likely to be completed than california high speed rail
since there are no flights from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the train is definitely very good!

In India I always prefer rail transportation as it is cheap and my first preference rather than bus or taxi. Here in India railway network is good except in some hilly areas but now it is developing in hillly areas also.
I want UAE to develop a rail network as it will be helpful to tourists.
