Jo was my first girl crush. I grew up watching FOL since I was like 5 (I’m 17 now) and obviously when I was that young I didn’t know what being bisexual or lesbian was, but growing up I think deep down I had feelings for Jo (Nancy McKeon) and it’s been quite sometime since I re binge watched the Facts of Life, so I just started to re binge watch it as were quarantined and realizing I love Nancy 😂 I know that sounds a bit cliché and weird because she’s in her 50’s now and I’m about to be 18, but honestly I can’t help it, no one can control their feelings. Jo was always my favorite when I was younger so I think deep down at the time, I had feelings for her even though I didn’t know what they were.

When I was younger I never watched season 1 or seasons 5-9 because they weren’t at Eastland, Mrs. Garrett left, and because their hair changed and they grew up which at the time I hated. But since I’m re binge watching it I actually love the later seasons because they’re more responsible but they still act like teenagers (idk it’s hard to explain)

I’ve wished this since I was younger, even though I was born in 2002, I think the 70’s-90’s was the best but 80’s are hands down the best. So if I was to live in any decade it would be the 80’s.

I watched The Facts of Life when they went to Paris, and when Jo met that guy David I was genuinely happy for her. I cried because I was jealous that he got to kiss her and I didn’t, but I also cried when they had to say goodbye because you could tell that Jo really loved him.

I also made this comment to say that Nancy still sounds the same😂

Edit: Nancy just doesn’t have that Bronx accent, but she still sounds the same.

Jo wouldn’t have kicked Nancy out if Jo found out she was on dancing with the Stars because Jo took the Ballroom Dancing in season 7, Natalie signed her up.

Actually Jo took ballroom dance lessons in season 7 episode 23 “Ballroom Dance, ” and Jo defended herself for taking ballroom dance lessons when she was asked why she took the lesson
