Babaniaris v Lutony Fashions (Interpreting statute)

In this statutory interpretation case, the High Court acknowledged that it should not lightly overturn an established lower court interpretation of a provision, but that at the same time, the court could not blindly endorse an interpretation which it considered to be wrong.
