I've been a counselor for a domestic shelter and helped many women work through sexual trauma. Often there is a disconnect until the person has an inner sovereignty. Ivanka has the feel of someone who has more than an intellectual understanding.

She has NO CONTROL over her father and his actions. I look at the post as a slam to her father and a stand against him. This is not the first time she has stood away from him (per say). I think the whole family is like a cult, ALL brought up being feed with a golden spoon and NONE having any idea what reality is.

I think all this criticism towards Ivanka is a bit unfair in regards to her actions surrounding Donald Trump. She is in an impossible position having to chose between a father she clearly loves and accusers who ate complete strangers. She probably does care about sexual assault victims, even her dads victims, but cant bring herself to criticize her dad. Many people have different standards for strangers and family, allowing family members to get away with a-lot more misconduct than they would a complete stranger or friend. Thats why we have the maxim “blood is thicker than water.” The real problem is that she is not using her considerable power as the POTUS daughter to champion women’s causes like she promised she would. She says the right things, which may be sincere, but she does not do anything of substance to back up her rhetoric. Acta Non Verba = Deeds Not Words are what matter most.
