Having lived most of my life in Thomasville, I can honestly say that it is a town geared toward people who have money. That said...yes it is a nice place to live and work in but as with anywhere you live there will always be pros and cons. Some more than others.

We just need to explore the different neighborhoods...we would love to be walking distance to downtown...not sure if that is possible. But it does look very charming.

Thomasville is a town for anyone, wealthy, average, and thugs , but it matches people, who they are inside. It Dr's and Hospitals are some of the best, I've used Dr's and would recommend, Dr Neal (ret. ) Dr Bentley, Thomasville a great place to live.

I am so glad that you mentioned the scent of baking bread. I’ve lived in Thomasville all my life and when Flowers is baking, the smell of downtown Thomasville is just magnificent. I don’t mean to be racist in any way, but one of Thomasville’s cons is that we have entirely too many Mexican restaurants and not enough seafood and steak restaurants. Jonah’s fish and grits and Rock Bottom seafood and grill is wonderful but we could use at least one more seafood restaurant and one more fine steak restaurant.

Not enough jobs in Thomasville georgia. Not enough affordable housing for a single person to afford a single person just trying to make a simple living

Thomasville Georgia is not the best place to live, the roads are terrible, the hospital is crazy having to wait for hours to be seen, restaurants with employees who don’t wanna work and have bad attitudes, you actually have to be rich to shop down town, so no I would not tell someone to live here, just saying!
