when i went to europe to visit my girlfriend, the thing that surprised me the absolute most was how often the buses/trams come! also reusable produce bags and how big the sidewalks are.

my town predates the united states by over 600 years, the fact that most american buildings are so young astounds me. you can’t go 100 metres in london without the age of the buildings next to you changing century.
