spraying is quicker overall in a larger project...I spray and I can tell you that I could roll that room quicker than sprayong..this example is deceiving...you need to consider setting sprayer up and properly cleaning down...as well as changing paint colours..don't believe this to be an honest comparison from Dulux ..just to get you to buy a sprayer and accessories as big profit...larger projects yes...smaller no.

Tape up the same day as the walls have been done. Which tape is used for that?

I'm a painter and I like the painting part of my job, as in; I like to spend my time at work doing the painting.
I'm not a 'tape applier and remover' 🤷‍♂

After 15years i still hate how slow it is to cut and roll but it looked like you only sprayed the room once for walls? While he rolled twice.
How do u get away with spraying a ceiling after walls with no spitting
I was always sanding or cleaning up after a bad sprayer.
Also you can't touch up a spray job once its done but the brush and roller way can always be touched up. Iv seen priming and first coating done with sprayer and Id only agree to that.

This is the primary reason i invest in spray machines. From cup gun to free standing. Still looking forward to the GX21 upgrade tho.

I don’t know any painter and decorators that use sprayers and that’s on building sites and domestic work. Did a bit at college and you need to me on point with your prep work. Everything needs to be taped up perfect and straight you can’t afford to miss abit. You don’t want to spray everything and have jagged edges etc and if you give up
Using brush and roller completely you will have to do it all again. It’s quicker but it’s the time and effort and the clart on to get the rooms to a standard before you spray. And then you need to do different colours so you need to make sure one area is completely dry before masking it off or your goings to take paint of the wall and then you need to change the colour so you clean it out or get another sprayer. It’s just a clart on. Of sprayers were that good I wouldn’t seen decorators on building sites using roller abs brush which I think is the best method

Deceiving!
Sprayer didn't tape off the ceiling line because of crown molding. Would have been better if you showed a room with NO crown molding and with windows.
Spraying with out repainting the ceiling requires taping that corner and you also have to completely cover the windows, floors and close off doorways. All that takes extra time.

That’s not a true video. They only gave one coat of everything. No one would paint one coat.
