Renting vs. Buying a Home: Which is Better?

I get this. I understood it when I bought my house. Fucking toilet flooded one Saturday morning. Ruined the whole day. HVAC started acting up. Bought window units cause I'm a cheap ass. I pay extra every month to try and get the principle down so I have less extra fun it's annoying. But I plan on living here for atleast 5-10 years. It's big enough that maybe one day I'll meet someone and she will want to live here with me. So being a "homeowner" is annoying. But I think.... I hope... it will be worth it at the end

I bought a house at 23 and 7 years later, I still haven't fixed my HVAC lmao. Window units go brrrr

I waited until I was 36 to buy my first home. I wish I had done it about 10 years sooner. I would be in a much better place in life if I had.

It's not that much money. Landlords are psychos and knowing that your rent won't go up every year is worth it to not rent. Dont listen to this video
