Tools; Floor Jack, 1/2" socket/ratchet w extender
Pliers, Philips screwdriver, or center punch.

I dropped in to see if you had figured out where the two smaller flat washers in the kit are fitted as the tank I'm changing is out of an unrestored original AACA show car. The tank and hardware appeared to be original, and after 40 years of restoring MGs I guess I never paid that much attention to it... when I jack a tank up, I screw two round nosed 5/16x24 studs into diagonal captive nuts and use a cordless ratchet to draw the tank up into into alignment then unscrew them and replace with the proper bolts and washers. Takes one extra minute to save multiple crawls underneath when working alone

One thing I saw from another, coat the entire top tank w heavy grease. Will guarantee no water ever sets on top, rusting out the top.
