Once upon a time, I knew a guy called Lucky Gus.
He was one of those guys who wore pinstripes
and he always carried a little red dice in his right pocket.
He had luck on his side and he knew it -oh boy, did he know..
So, one day, Lucky Gus got super lucky.
He went on a bet with the Devil and himself,
he rolled his dice 3 times and he won!
He won a lot of money and a lot of power.
However he didn't know what to do with it, how to use it,
so he kept it untouched for a long long time..
When they found out about his money,
people around him tried to take advantage of him.
His parents started calling him every day,
his ex girlfriend became unbearably keen on him
and she was begging him to "get back together!",
even his friends on the streets were shouting at him
"Yo! Lucky Gus! Give us some golden dust boy, c'mon, don't be selfish!"
But, Lucky Gus wouldn't listen.
He chose to ignore all of them..
In the end, a priest went up to him
and advised him to share his fortune with the community of God.
"You need to face reality son" said the priest,
"None of your friends and family truly love you, all they do, they do it for your money and power. They are fake! So give me your money, and follow your God. Only He can save you..."
But Lucky Gus was clever enough and he chose to turn God down too.
And as time went by,
he was left alone and sad. Oh, so sad..
Until one morning he go up and took one great big decision.
He looked in the mirror and he said
"SCREW REALITY! SCREW IT!
I don't wanna care about anything, I don't wanna feel sad anymore!
I wanna forget. Yes, I wanna forget!"
So he invested all of his money on making sure he actually didn't care!
Lucky Gus turned into a careless boy,
he changed his blood, smoked some grass for joy,
he popped some pills,
he sniffed some glue,
that's all he ever had to do..
..and that's how, Lucky Gus, lost everything and lost himself too,
trapped into his illusionary world,
alongside with his demons..
