You sir are like the Bob Ross of kayaking, your videos are so chill and soothing, great for a fix when we can't get out on the water, because it's like we are there with you! Greetings from Spain!

Got my first GL paddle this year and instantly fell in love with it. It's only downside is that you can't get away with not wearing a splash skirt - unless you WANT to get wet.

Very nostalgic for me. Been at that campsite many times — I go there for wildlife photography.
I run my Airvolution kayak up there - perfect boat for shooting. But I fast boat in — it’s a long paddle for a 33” wide IK 😎
The Airvolution is great on the Creek and even in 1.5’ chop waves out on the water.
But I wouldn’t want to have to paddle home when the lake gets really big and windy.

"not a good kayaking park" ... I'm watching this as I lay here recovering from a 29 portage 2 week kayaking trip from Kawawaymog to Tim Lake. Literally just got back less than an hour ago.

Btw Ken, thanks for your review on the Itiwit Strenfit. It helped a lot with deciding which portable kayak to go with and it held up really well the whole trip, beaver dams and all! I love it

What a place, literally alien to my section of Atlantic coast, I love to see what else the world has to offer paddlers.

I used to guide a fair amount in the park and regardless of the season, the north arm has always had moose with each visit. It really is magical to have access to such a sight.

Thank you so much for this mini vacation. It’s so relaxing to watch the beautiful places you paddle and you have inspired my paddling journey. I’m new to kayaks but I’m hooked.❤

They are magical to see in the wild. Up at the Boundry Waters we get lucky every now and then.

Nice to see such a beautiful spot, my nearest large lake (for WV) "Bluestone Lake" is only about 5 miles long and 1/4 to 1/2 mile wide: I was on it yesterday. I'm sorry that you didn't get to see a moose; my only experience with a moose was in Caribou Maine back in the 70's. I was deer hunting in heavy brush and walked into the backend of one. It made a huge sound and flew in one direction and I'm sure I made a large sound and flew in the opposite direction. It's nice to see that you have started appreciating the Greenland style paddles. I purchased my first Gearlab Outdoors paddle in 2017 "Akiak". I then purchased one each for my son and granddaughter. I also own two Kalleqs and this year I purchased the Ipik. I love all of the Gearlab paddles but actuall prefer the Kalleq at this time (I'm still getting use to the unique design of the Ipik. I have done speed test between my Ipik and Kalliste, when I do a proper forward technique, my speed has been between 4 - 4.2 mph with the Ipik and between 4.2 - 4.5 mph with the Kalliste, in a Stellar S18 EXP G2. I've found that the Ipik puts less strain on me and the slight drop in speed is worth ease of paddling. I also have two Werner paddles, (Camano & Kalliste), I tend to use these traveling down the New and Greenbrier Rivers, class II & III rapids. Over the past 10 years of kayaking, in this area, I have yet to see another Sea/Touring kayak, everyone around here prefers a fishing or recreational kayak. Thanks so much for your fantastic videos, I look forward to watching them.

Thank you so much for all your videos! What a beautiful place, thanks for sharing it. Did you see a moose on the way home? The birds were great. Hope your shoulder is healing well…
