PS4 Pro Power Supply Replacement

I show how to replace the power supply in a PS4 Pro. First, the warranty stickers must come off...if you have a warranty then send it in for repairs or exchange it. After they are off and the three black screws are removed the top and bottom covers come off, then two screws on one side of the PS4 Pro and 5 screws on the power supply of the console. After that it's just a matter of carefully removing the power supply connector from the PS4 Pro motherboard and installing the replacement power supply. Then all the screws and covers go back on and it's done.

Dude, you have no idea how much I need to thank you for your efforts. You just saved me from trying to get my PS4 Pro sent to Sony, only had to do the front half and the rest was simple. Thanks again, liked immensely.

This saved my brother about 160 dollars by ordering the Power Supply off Amazon and an 8 dollar tool kit with screw drivers. Doesn't come with the cable, so make sure one plans a head for that. Still, this is one hell of a blessing!

I watched this video just to make sure I could make a better cleaning of the fan and heatsink without having to disassemble the whole shabang. And looks like I was right. But I watched you disassembling it first, that's why I figured it could be possible. It wasn't very clear TO me. Now it is :)

Thanks!

My ps4 pro turns on once then off 2 secs after. Then nothing happens when i press that button. If i unplug and plug it back, it does the same. After a lot of research on the net, you are the only one that only confirmed that i truly need a power supply in one of your other videos based on my problem. Thank you for that. I got the sill and the right tools to repair it. So now ill buy one. Ill let you guys know how it went.

I took my wife's blowdryer (on cold) and removed the top cover and bottom cover. Used a ton of earbuds/Qtips and cleaned the heatsink through the fan. Might not be 10000% perfectly clean but its quiet and I don't risk breaking it.

Guys, if you cleaned your PS4 and have a problem getting the PS4 to turnon or it turns on then off, you may have put the power supply back in
wrong. Make sure the two long metal pieces are straight and not bent to where it reaches the power brick. Not placing it back in correctly also
may make it hard to put the other plastic back on and difficult to put the screws back in the PS4. Went through this myself. Hopes that's the
case and you too can save your money.

Thanks for the video, I ended up damaging the 4-pin power cable that connects to the motherboard (nothing else was damaged), -so I ordered a new one from Amazon- and the Hakko CHP PN-2005 Long-Nose Pliers you use since my dad doesn't have any like it as none of them have Serrated Jaws (they're all really old too).
