SURF AND TURF SPICY PASTA
1 lb shrimp
- Season to ur preference and cook on a skillet, set shrimp aside until ready to serve. I seasoned my shrimp with salt, black pepper, garlic powder and paprika
Steak of choice
- I used ribeye. Again, season to preference and cook to preference. I seasoned with salt, black pepper and garlic powder. I usually cook mine on a skillet but today, I cooked it in an air fryer.
- The thickness of my steak was ~1 inch and I airfried at 400F for 10 minutes flipping half way through.
The pasta is the star of the show IMO. To make the pasta…
1 lb pasta
1 TBSP garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup wine (pinot Grigio)
1/2 cup pasta water
SPICES
1.5 TBSP dried paisley
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp red peppre flales
1/2 tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook pasta but reserve 1/2 cup pasta water
2. Once garlic is fragrant, pour in heavy cream and bring to a light boil (simmer).
3. Once it comes to a light boil, add all of the ingredients listed under SPICE and cook for 3-5 mins.
4. Then add 1 cup of wine and 1/2 cup of pasta water. Bring this to a hard boil for ~5 mins. Sauce will slightly thicken
5. Then add 1 lb cooked pasta and combine well. Then top it off with a handful parmeszheon cheese. Combine well.
6. Then top of off with your shrimp and/ or steak.
7. Garnish with parsley
