FIX Secure Boot State is OFF after Enabling in BIOS.

In this video, I will explain how to fix the issue where your secure boot is still set to off in windows after you have enabled it in your BIOS. I specifically cover how to do this on a gigabyte motherboard in this video although the concept should be fairly similar on other motherboards too.

This fixed my issue!! Mine was a bit different and I had to change it to custom secure boot mode and then back to standard. Only then was my system mode changed from startup to user.

Thank you so much, yesterday I followed what the normal gigabyte bios told me to do and so I enrolled a PK key which had bricked my computer and had to reflash BIOS. With your guide, it worked beautifully and now windows actually says I have it on

Note:

if the secure boot mode says Standard already and you still hadn't enabled secure boot and you enabled it, it will not work

to fix this enable secure boot first
then set the secure boot mode to custom disable it secure boot again then turn on secure boot again then make the secure boot mode to standard and it will now say user or setup as long no active it will work

now go to system information and it should tell that your secure boot is now enabled or on
