I carved this as the first thing i ever carved, then made a seal and now im doing a coiled up snake- just using pocket knife and branches i found on the ground- cute fox really inspired me lol

do you have any tips and/or could you possibly make a video about which woods are best when all you have available is wood found on the ground while camping? Id like to be able to find good whittling wood while camping instead of having to buy some and carry it with me

just curious, what would you recommend to someone who wants to wood carve, but is phobic of knives due to past rather traumatic experiences as a 9 year old? What fool-proof gloves that still allow for easy/precise handling, safest knife, etc? Any videos of yours on best knife/wood holding positions to avoid meeting the local doctors at the ER? 😂
