👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job — I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! I was excited about the pattern/tile option until I made a few and realized they aren’t actual seamless designs. I made copies of each and lined them all up - the designs do not carry across seamlessly from one edge to the next. Unless I’m doing something wrong… but I followed kittl’s own tutorial on using the pattern option in AI. I can get true seamless tiles or patterns from midjourney, so I’ll keep doing that for now.
