Homeschooling is legal in all provinces of Canada. But, each province has its own rules and regulations you have to follow.

Ontario is incredibly and wonderfully lax in its homeschooling rules. We love it and love the freedom that we have when it comes to homeschooling in Ontario. Here’s what you need to do to homeschool in Ontario.

I love your channel; it is very helpful and informative. I do have a question: How about private school? I can send a letter of intent, but do you need to repeat that every year, even if there is no school board? (private montesorri style school). thanks

100% freedom over funding any time. That funding is a drop in the bucket anyway.

I'm in Toronto, and the letter of intent has a pretty long part about starting and ending the homeschooling for my kid. Should I leave the ending section blank or just go ahead and send it? As you said, I need to submit a letter of intent every year to be on the safe side.

Tell the school to FO and take your kids out of the brainwashing. School them yourself. I refused school and was tutored.

I’m confused so for homeschooled kids are they taking any tests at any point to get grades on a report card which they can use for university applications?
