How to Text Chat on Controller in Sea of Thieves (Xbox or PS5)

To text chat on a controller in Sea of Thieves, follow these steps:

Open the Settings Menu: Press the designated button (by default, E on the keyboard or a specific button on the controller).

Assign a Hotkey: Scroll down to the Text Chat option and assign a hotkey to it.

Yet another game ruined by trolls who 1v4 people in a sloop. And of course the creators give you a game without other players. But they limit the highest level to 40, can't fucking customize your ship and you get reduced rewards basically forcing you to play with the trolls in order to access the full game features. Cause just like Conan Exiles. They cater to the trolls.
