Benjamin Anthony hosts Haaretz journalist Amir Tibon for a fascinating discussion about the future of Israel's recently-ousted Prime Minister, the unflappable Benjamin Netanyahu. Having surpassed Israel's founding father David Ben-Gurion as the longest-serving chief executive in the nation's history, does Bibi have a third act still to come on the world stage? Will he parlay his position as opposition leader into yet another term? And in order to set the scene for a triumphant return to power, can he successfully sow doubt about the current ruling coalition by helping to torpedo their crucial budget negotiations? Listen as Tibon, an expert on Israeli politics, discusses all of these topics and more. A MirYam Institute program.

Netanyahu aligned too much with Trump and US Republicans, and has adopted his style. He is putting himself about Israel's interests. He should play the elder statesman and do what the country needs. If the current administration falters, he will be called back. Not if he continues to feed his ego.
