April Garden Tour 2024 | This Spring is So Early!

Welcome back to my garden! I am happy to start this season with you.
For our area, this spring has arrived earlier than planned and we literally rushed to catch up with it. I still can't get back on track as I love taking everything slowly but as for even this minute there are lots of things happening.
My mind is elsewhere, but my hands do remember what they need to do :) Happy spring! And let the crop be bountiful!

I'm growing my onions and tomatoes by seed this year, and I'm transferring them to the main garden today. I love this time of year. Thanks for the inspiration.

Happy to see you again. Spring is coming earlier everywhere in the world due to Global Warming. In Japan, we have "Change of Clothes" day twice in a year, when students change from long-sleeve winter uniform to short-sleeve, and vice versa. In spring, the day was June 1 50 yrs ago when I was a student. Recently, it has become warmer in May. This year, the temperature went as high as 30C even in April. No more offical "Change of Clothes" day and maybe harvest season will arrive much earlier.
