Why can Paramount and Sony make such solid movies that look really good for so much less money than pretty much all Disney movies?

Scream 6 budget was $35M, that's the typical catering budget on a Disney/Marvel/SW movie.

The Fact that Creed 3 will reach $200 Million before Ant-Man speaks volumes… Why Disney didn’t just reboot the MCU after Endgame is beyond me. To me that was the end for me. Have not spent money on these Movies since! Scream 6 is Great loved that one safe to say we’re getting a Scream 7 in the next 2 years or so… 65 was the Dino Crisis we all needed I’ve wanted Capcom to do that since the Game came out nearly 30 years ago. So this was in a way sort of that, but in PG-13 form!

I’m a little surprised that scream six is doing as well. I personally would’ve thought that serious would’ve ran out of gas by now especially this time of year. I want to talk to be more popular during Halloween season.

the fact that ant man 3 stays in the top 5 after its historic second weekend drop is the really surprising thing and when John wick 4 opens that means that ant man 3 will have been in the top 5 for 5 weeks

I saw 65 and I too really enjoyed it! Who doesn’t like Star Wars vs Jurassic Park?😂 All kidding aside I was surprised and really did enjoy it and agree that Adam Driver did a great job! 💕🐻

I saw 65 last night. It was very meh. I can't believe a movie with a cast of TWO cost a whopping 100 million before tax rebates. They will not make that back. I have zero interest in Creed, but will probably see Scream 6 soon.

Valliant, "65" has a $91.1M budget, not $45M. At least that's what The-Numbers and a couple of other sources say.

If that's indeed the case, and if non-enhused word of mouth persists, Sony will lose money with it.

Hollywood saw what happened with Top Gun and Avatar. People want good and fun stories. Everything cant just be "stuff that the Chinese would watch"
