I loved that South Park took a dig at them.

This interview was slow and uninteresting. The questions were bland and generic. 2 stars

The irony of criticizing Yelp as being nothing but complaining on a Youtube comments section where it's nothing but complaining.

He's totally right. Google hide things all the time. It's not fair.

I love how he fired the employee for posting an open letter about the wages being so low she wasn't able to eat.

I'm guessing there's no mention of their shady practices? No point watching then?

Yelp is such bullshit. Who goes home happy and writes a decent review online?

I don't understand the hate for Yelp in the comments. It's a life saver when you're in a different country and you want to avoid shitty over priced food.

I appreciate that the LSSC is actively recruiting the titans of tech to be interviewed. Having now seen Mr Stoppelman I have an appreciation for the nature of his character and I'm less inclined to think of Yelp as a formalized outlet for malcontentedness.

I like the idea of Yelp but I think it's unfair that these unprofessional critics are giving their opinion. It's not fair to a business

Isn't he the guy who fired the minimum wage worker at his company when she complained in social media about her wages.

Too often Yelp just offers another way for people to troll the internet; they never attended the restaurant, place, hotel--and then write a review (negative/positive) based on nothing....

Stephen definitely used to be a waiter. You can tell.

That guy had such negative energy. He started things off awkwardly by stating Colbert should thank. I know Colbert's intial statement made him uncomfortable, but the guest made himself feel awkward by forcing himself to eat that food lol. You doesn't have to review everything lol. Chill dude.

Google knows that most reviews on Yelp is total bullshit. Most of the time when a person has a positive experience with something or someplace they won't bother writing about it but when we have a negative experience we bring out the pitch forks. The bullshit reviews are plaguing Amazon now, with all the "I got this item for free but here is my unbiased review". Unbiased my ass, but with Amazon I at least the know they being bribed. I wish somebody came up with a better way of reviewing/commenting, I have thought about it but none of my idea will work.
