We are continuing our study of bus rapid transit lines in other cities with this look at the Red Line in Indianapolis. You'll hear how the cost savings of BRT have allowed for more miles of transit service while improving pedestrian safety within the corridor and driving transit-oriented development around the stations. This all-electric BRT line operates through the heart of downtown while connecting to many neighborhoods and job centers.

BRT: it’s like light rail, except that the return on investment is worse, the ridership is lower, and future elected officials can rip it up as soon as Richard Bowers complains about it.

Stop taking the cheap and easy option. Build high quality rail lines that will be worth their investment.

Marta's really going hard on this pro bus propaganda campaign aren't they? Get a clue, we want RAIL for Atlanta, BRT is just Great Value public transport.

indianapolis doesn’t even have sidewalks in like 90% of the city so how are people supposed to walk to these stations?
