Buckethead should never need money. I paid $50 to see him in Santa Cruz recently. I paid $300 to see Def Leppard and Motley Crue a bit ago. I would have easily paid $300 to see Buckethead and Maybe $50 to see Def Leppard. There was no comparison on how much better Buckethead show was.

We all have to give credit to Axl Rose. Buckethead, as fabulous as he is, was basically an unknown guitarist until he joined Guns N‘ Roses. Axl picked him to join Guns N‘ Roses even though Buckethead is a different kind of cat. Buckethead was then reborn and no longer a starving artist. Thank you Axl Rose for knowing talent and creativity when you see it and hear it.

I saw him on that. Enter the chicken tour. There was a moment when he was doing the nunchuck breakdown that his nunchucks broke and smacked me in the face. It wasn't the first time I had been hit with a pair of nunchucks... He went off stage because he was so worried what had happened. Someone else came up to the front and made it very interesting apology because Buckethead was so worried In a truly caring way. After the show in Lawrence He had the owner of the venue purchased me a pizza which was very kind and thoughtful And stared at me with the most kind, sad eyes. Definitely one of the most memorable shows not only for the performance but for the character underneath all of that. As you get older you forget some of those kind of things that happen... And the head injuries... So I'm glad I watched this little video and was reminded of that very fun night.

i heard bucket head through guitar hero but i was down a rabbit hole and been a fan since like 2008, i have a fck tone of his albums, its been some years since ive listened since i listen to a bunch of music but this gave me queue to listen to his albums i have on my hard drive (i back up ALL albums and projects/art i do) this brought me back to so much good music

What a cool little story. I saw Buckethead in Charlottesville with my son. Definitely a different kind of concert. Never said a word, but personally handed out trinkets from a huge sack. If he would have been drunk, he would have been my uncle Frank at any family function.

I met bucket heads brother, he was my uber driver. I didn’t believe it but he really was, he showed me pictures of him without the bucket and told some stories. Said he was always an odd sheep but was so musically talented and kind of did the cliche surf couches and had no direction thing, but could never be with out his guitar. He implied he had some kind of autism and the only way her could function was through the guitar his entire life, never was really involved with the family and was very quiet disappearing with out a trace for periods of time.
His dad was a coach and teacher at the Damien private school in la Verne.
I was living in Claremont at the time, I just remember thinking what a small world this mystery guitar god figure grew up a few miles down the road from where I lived.
