I just don’t understand the reaction to this news from everyone. “OH MY GOD GTA6 I’M SO HYPED ITS TAKEN THEM LONG ENOUGH”. Like, what? OBVIOUSLY gta 6 has been in development, anyone with a brain would have known that, and it is most likely still 5 years away. This announcement isn’t really an announcement at all, it just gets them out the red dead online spotlight. So disappointed.

The GTA series, while fun, is not a "must play" kind of game for me. I've been in and out of the series since GTA3, and even now I can take it or leave it. What Rockstar decides to do in the coming months/years is going to weigh heavily on whether I continue to buy their games, because at the end of the day, there are only so many hours in the day to dedicate to gaming, and there are **plenty** of other studios out there continuously cranking out masterpieces worth that time. #SaveRedDeadOnline

I think they're trying to make these big websites switch from talking bad about them to this, not because they care about the communities of both games but they care just about their shares.

Honestly, I will never ever forgive this trash company for what they've done to this beautiful game and to this awesome community. RDR2 is one of the most beautiful games in history and honestly, I was thinking about buying something else from Rockstar because I liked what they did with RDR2 but then, when R* started to neglect us I promised myself I will never buy anything from this shitty company ever again. When I saw this, that was also my thoughts about the information. They deflected the #SaveRedDeadOnline movement with this announcement. They knew what just saying this much would do. I knew they've been working on this since at least 2 years after GTAV. I mean come on.

I can’t even describe what I am feeling right now. Weeks of #SaveRedDeadOnline but zero communication. Even a big middle finger post with something like “Fck you RDO fans” would even be better than being ignored for weeks. Just tell the community like “hey y’all, great movement and all but we don’t care and we’ll let this game die bye” because now we’re just clowns who are treated like sh*t. Is it really so hard to just communicate with their most loyal fanbase. Like. What. The. Hell. Sorry I am venting but this is just ridiculous.
