So my Mom worked in a bar and one of her regulars said that his son likes doing jiu jitsu. She tells me this story and I'm like "uh ok". Turns out that his son is Gordan Ryan lol. "Likes doing BJJ" lol

Edit: It seems that some people are upset. My comment stirred up some controversy, which is weird, but whatever. My mom tells me that Gordon sr. was a really nice guy, quiet and mostly to himself. Probably because my mom's friends are a bunch of delinquents. Anyway, his dad showed my mom pictures of Gordon and he was very proud of his son. My mom doesn't know ANYTHING about BJJ, so that could have been the reason he underplayed his son's accomplishments, I dunno. Also, keep in mind that this conversation could have been as long as 5+ years ago. Before Gordon Ryan was as popular as he is now.

Gordon is the best right yes there may be few other guys that are a little better in certain guard passing... etc. But they have yet to go in there and use that distinct advantage to secure a they try then slip or start getting tired and guess Ryan immediately shows you why is so well rounded. In the next few years we will inevitably see a guy that will be able to take it to Gordon because father time is Ryan will start to get Older and a younger guy will come it is the cycle of life.... and mma...and bjj etc. Let's just enjoy this master of his craft while he is still In his prime!!
