Does the fact that the detectives followed up on the possibility that he got a ride with someone mean that the police are aware of the Reddit account that was speculated to be his, and his posts looking for clandestine meetups with strangers? Would he potentially have met up with someone in the cornfield? Did he drop his phone trying to photograph something like the manhole or the drainage ditch while walking the dog, bring the dog home, and then go back out to try to retrieve his phone and end up falling in? There has to be a way to rule some of these things out. I check for updates on Caleb’s case all the time because it just feels impossible to move past it without answers. I hope his community finds closure.

If he fell in that manhole then his phone would have been at the bottom or would have been washed to the same place Caleb went.

Unfortunately i believe this was a tragic addident at this point unless more evidence is uncovered that points otherwise. Prayers for his loved ones and i hope they are healing as best they can

Yes well these kinds of things are tedious.
I can say one thing for sure, I do not envy law enforcement on this one.

My brother-in-law was murdered in 2008 in Mission Texas and there has been no arrests and that's more than 16 years of searching and looking and prodding and wondering and going over notes going in and out of PD different Chiefs have left investigators have left
The only thing I know and it should be on video.. was March 2020 right before covid in the city of mission on video there should be able to see an investigator with a cowboy hat telling me to call the FBI on the Mission Police department.

Why you ask? Our campaign tents are on the city property of the Mission Police department.!!! And they have cameras pointing towards the political camps.
