It was kinda funny that he was afraid of bats though since he played The Riddler in Batman Forever that same year. Maybe that's what annoyed Carey, because he'd already done it in that role.

Proof he's an epic actor. Didn't agree with a lot of things in this movie, was suffering in the Grinch through hours of grueling makeup, & went as far to actually beat himself up in Liar Liar to the point of needing medical attention afterwards. This man commits, serves, & leaves no crumbs.
