They're right. When I was their age 5 years ago trying to date, there was so much disrespect and dishonesty. People need to be honest in their dating profiles. It's fine if you want a FWB but put it on pause out of respect for the person you literally start dating in case in turns into something. People just need to be honest, stop catfishing and stop treating everyone else like crap. It does nothing for current/future generations and wider society at large, as well as in one's own individual life. It's no wonder loneliness has become an epidemic...this is exactly why.

He’s right, and trans and LGTBQ rights shouldn’t trump anyone else’s rights or dating preferences. No one is forced to like you, but we all should have a level of respect to not cause bodily harm or evoke hate towards someone because of who they are.
