TouchDesigner Beginner Tutorial 1

This is a step by step easy tutorial using TouchDesigner. TouchDesigner is a node based visual programming language for real time interactive multimedia content. These videos are beginner level and we'll soon record new tutorials which are a little more complex but with rewarding results. If you have any suggestions, please let us know in the comments.

This could have been better if you showed the output from the beginning and how each node affect it, this looks more like working in a dark

I'm just learninf TD, seen other videosthat were more theory oriented, and then this one. I'm glad I stumbled upon it, because it shows the workflow, while the other one was really good but for understanding what operators do and why. Good job!

thank you very much. I thought the video was good, because you get a sense of achievement so quickly (as a beginner like me, that motivates). Other videos are often very long and complex and it is difficult to concentrate for so long when everything is so new and complicated

My circles look different when first rendering, they are grey instead of black. not sure how you got them to be see through, also I had to add a light comp to see anything, and a phong mat to assign the const to the geometry material. any idea what I missed?

2:20 u missed a step and cut to it straight - how did u get the double arrow thingies

Other tutorials explain to much this one explains to little 😂. Like you could add those squares one by one and show the output changing . And not just add them all and then connect the output 😅
