VW Golf 5 V GTI TFSI 2.0 Turbo acceleration 0-180 km/h

A good full HD quality video (without the stupid music) of an accelerating stock VW Golf mk5 GTI 200 hp no DSG.

First time I tested the acceleration of the car, so don't pay much attention on how I shift.

This is why I prefer the 6 speed manual as you don't have to worry about that draw back, still a fantastic car regardless of what gearbox you have.

MkV with a TFSI (no TSI like in the newer versions) engine is imo the best GTI on earth

It means Direkt-Schalt-Getriebe,
Its a Automatic with shift time from mili sek.
I love it its really fast

Dude, TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) = TFSI (Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection), its just that audi still uses the TFSI initials, and VW doesn' t. Both engines are FSI with turbocharger, as simple as that ...

I liked the RCD210, because you have storage space at the bottom for your mobile phone or whatever you want :P

I've got a pioneer radio now, way much better sound.

We don't have 97 here. Only 95 and 98, and yes it makes a difference, also in consumption. The TFSI engine is made to run 100% with 98 octane because it's a high compression engine. The higher the octane, the better it runs. When I'm in Germany, I always tank 102 octane and it runs much better.

between 7 and 8 seconds that's not bad at all. factory is saying 7, 2 with a stock manual. if it was'nt for that little bit of wheelspin you would have made that fairly easy.
