My work for 20+ years has to been to seek out and find if other cultures had the 20 days or the 260 day calendar. The 2 biggest finds are extremely stark.
1) The I-Ching first 20 hexagrams are the 20 days. 2) Genesis and Exodus both are structured using the 260 day calendar. Genesis uses the order of the trecenas, by chapter starting with Ix. Exodus follows the 20 days by chapter, twice round beginning with Batz.
The Maya also had the 36 deccans, which can be found in Tikal (Altar V). It is not an altar, it is a 36 deccan calendar with the standard four separated and placed inside the circle. the most identifiable feature of the 36 deccans, is every culture that has them, properly separates the same four and lists them in various orders, sometimes with a one off. This makes the correlations instantaneous, easily done, and undeniable.
There is much about the 20 day cycle that is natural and is visible throughout nature and easy to follow without considering human traits. A skilled day keeper can wake up from a coma, not knowing what day it is, and after a few days of observation, likely pinpoint the day and the trecena.
This stuff was global.
