A young man named Vincent took his own life this week at OTHS. My heart is breaking for his family. My mind went to this beautiful song that I have loved for years. God bless him and his family and friends.

I had the incredible experience of being at this concert live, and it was pure magic. This song holds a special place in my heart. I stood just in front of the spot where Vincent passed away in 1890, only a block away from my uncle’s home in France.

My wife and I saw Josh in 2011, it was a beautiful performance, she was so beautiful. When Josh sang this song she grabbed my hand, held it tight and smiled. I heard every word he sang but my eyes could not leave her beautiful face. I lost my wife in 2017, she was 46. When I hear this song today I can’t help but to remember the night that I held her hand and watched her smile to what is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Anna Liza, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you. 💕... I’ll see you soon sweetheart, but not too soon. 💕

My uncle lives 1 block away from where Vincent passed away in small attic above a local restuarant and 2 blocks from the hospital where he was cared for when he cut off his ear. He gave his art to the hospital to pay for the bills. Today sits a plack on the restaurant where he died in 1890. Becuase I spent time where he lived and painted materpieces gives this song special meaning to me.
