It really warms my 42 year old heart when I see people from the next generations NOT having a phone in their hands. I feel like you're a rare breed bro.

Ya know, as I sit here contemplating the loss of my mother a few days ago, I listen to you, playing that great sounding tele. And I am reminded that time marches on, and everything passes. Music speaks to us, my dude.

Thanks for making another great video.

the first 2 minutes are the most glorious tele music I've ever heard...

I'm a rocker from way back. In 1984, I bought my first Tele. I was 16. I've been a tele guy ever since. It made me learn to play clearer and more defined, but smoother (necessarily), because it doesn't reward those who are sloppy. But the player who plays a Tele well, plays guitar well.

That guitar has some serious mojo. I can only imagine what it must be like to play it. Man, I love Tele's.

Speaking as a fellow guitarist, you have the most important element present in your playing, which is "feel". Great job.

I can tell that guitar has touched your 💓. I recently purchased a Tele offset. I didn't go shopping looking for a tele atall. But when I played this one it also touched my heart like no other guitar has. I'm a changed man.

Don't take it apart if you feel a connection with it! Sometimes it just doesn't feel exactly the same when you put it back together

That spangly Tele twang thru an old Fender tweed is one of the most iconic tones in rock music, it's like a LP thru a Marshall Plexi - pure magic!

I dig that you already know how flippin' strong those necks are and how the whole bolt-on thing is a BEAUTIFUL thing when it comes to bending the axe so that you can nearly get the low E down to a D if you wish to do so. Any other type of neck join would snap the poor design in half. You manipulate the bending of the axe well. Props!

You know you're living well when you can rest your coffee mug on a 59 Fender Bassman.

love the vids matthew - your playing is incredible :)

That guitar/amp combination in your video must be one of the most beautiful tones I have ever listened to.

The Telecaster is a favorite of many country artists because the notes ring out so clearly. It’s a very bright sounding guitar !🎸 I played one once and was surprised how clean and bright it sounded. Like playing a Violin! Very Precise!

Man what tone! Who cares if it’s a parts guitar if it has the magic. I would pay to play that thru the Bassman. Just wow. I am a tele guy but my number one is a warmoth strat. You can’t pick what speaks to you some guitars just do. Thx for the vid

Why do so many people cry about taking it apart? It won't change the guitar at all to take it apart, I take all my guitars apart it only makes them better to play and are pretty simple things

It doesn't matter what its made from or how old the parts are, point is it feels amazing and looks cool, sounds equally cosmic. Just enjoy it as its previous owner did. It talks to you through your hands as well as your head.
