The camera is one of the most used apps of any smart phone. Taking pictures of your lunch, snapping your life story... its important to know what the quality is like before making a phone purchase. Come watch as I compare the video quality between the New OnePlus 3 smartphone, and the flagship Galaxy S7 Edge from Samsung. Will the flagship killer actually beat the Flagship? I test the higest resolution 4k, along with 1080p, different kinds of stabilization like the EIS and OIS, as well as slow motion. The front facing camera makes an appearance as well.

-4k panning: op3 wins for clarity and colour reproduction the s7 blows the highlights
-4k walking s7 wins, no artifacts and less shake
-1080p walking: s7 wins for stabilization but colors are better on op3
- front facing camera: op3 wins hands down: better colours, clarity and also some artifacts on the s7
- audio is better on the s7 but maybe oneplus will push an update to fix the always noise cancelling.

Great video man. I like the S7 in most everything except the front-facing camera, OP3 shines there. I also feel the mic was quite good on OP3. I've been really enjoying the OP3 since I got mine, best phone I've ever reviewed in the $400 and under category.

First off, and let me say thanks for this video, I really appreciate all your work and it's amazing going from motorcycle and jeep repair videos to this, props G! I am a 7 year professional photographer based out of Montreal and I got a few comments, but plz don't take them to heart.

Impressive! many times I thought you had the front camera footage flipped lol, you sure it wasn't flipped? :P

The front camera footage looks way better on the OnePlus, the highlights are better controlled, stabilization is better?? *Does it have EIS for the front camera? because the S7 does and it's shakier than the 1+3*.. the overall color is more vibrant and great contrast to boot. Why is the 1+3 cropped off? they both have the same aspect ratio, and resolution doesn't matter when fitting it into frame.

Did you change the positions of the cameras when you shot the front camera video? if you didn't then the labels should be reversed heh.. What's left and Right for the front camera, is Right and Left for the backs. @2:04 you even pointed out the camera's.. Sorry for all the questions but it's difficult for me to believe what I'm seeing here...and I don't mean to step on any toes or undermine you, I'm just calling it how i see it.

For $400 you really can't go wrong with the OnePlus 3, the camera may not be the best but if one knows how to use it effectively and with the right apps like "cinema4k" which lets you shoot manual video with bitrates up to 200mbit/s, you can do anything really.

I'm not sure where the mic is on the One Plus 3, but was it muffled because the S7 was next to it? It doesn't sound too good. I guess you get what you pay for. A cheaper phone would have a cheaper mic.

Also will you be doing videos on the Axon 7 when it releases in the US? I'd love to see what you think about it.
