Are you dealing with hardware issues on Windows 10? It could be a driver related problem. Here are three ways to properly update drivers on PCs.

A device driver is an essential piece of code that allows Windows 10 to detect and interact with a specific piece of hardware (such as graphics card, hard drive, or network adapter), as well as peripherals, including mice, keyboards, printers, monitors, and many others.

Microsoft has made it easier for Windows Update to keep Windows 10 updated by automatically downloading and installing the latest features and improvements, drivers, and hotfixes released by Microsoft—and with fewer interruptions and restarts when you're using your PC the most. The latest updates will automatically download and install when they’re available. (Unless you’re on a metered connection, then updates won’t download until you manually check for updates.)

Microsoft releases important updates every second Tuesday once a month, known as Patch Tuesday. However, updates could be released at any time.

Usually, Windows 10 can detect and install drivers automatically using the array of product drivers built into the system and Windows Update. However, on occasions, you may have to update a device manually for many reasons. For instance, when a particular piece of hardware isn't recognized automatically, stops working after an upgrade, Windows Update installs a generic package, or you need to access a new feature or apply a bug fix.

Whatever the reason it might be, Windows 10 comes with several options to update a device driver, including using Windows Update, Device Manager, and using auto-update assistants from device manufacturers.

This isn’t sufficient enough because the windows update cannot detect a lot of drivers. I’d recommend using a 3rd party software like driver booster or whatever you prefer. Remember to have a backup before updating drivers this way as the system may become unstable.

Do people not know that you can right click the windows button and it will give you a job down of most of the stuff that people search for like a device manager task manager applications and features etc.

my laptop is glitching for some reason, there are weird fluctuations in the display, and my mouse wavers when gliding, I don't think this is due to outdated drivers but "process of elimination...."
