Hurricane season: What are the next storms after Helene?

After Helene struck Florida, here are the next storms we are keeping an eye on.

Gosh, we could have used some, not all of course, of Helene's left-over rain here in the upper Midwest where it's been very dry over the past month and a half. Its rains got as far north as the southern suburbs of Chicago and then "poof!", it all headed southwest.

Why stop after November? Let's just keep talking about bad weather for the rest of the year and then start off with more hurricane predictions in January next year. I just love all those arrows on the map, the big colored blobs of nothing are very interesting too! It's very important to start thinking about next year's insurance bills too!

We have too many Weather Channels so when hurricane season starts in June they only have about 3 1/2 months to sell their product, fear and hyperbole.Peak hurricane season is about mid September so after a disappointing season for weather channels, no significant destruction, they have to make as many tragedies as possible.Get ready for every storm system to be blown completely out of proportion since they only have maybe 20-30 days to embellish the weather and sell their product.
