Author Sally Rooney boycotts Israeli publisher

Acclaimed author Sally Rooney has turned down a bid from an Israeli publishing house to translate her bestselling novel into Hebrew.

Rooney declined the publisher Hodan due to a cultural boycott of Israel and for their links with Israel’s defence ministry

Just remember there are two sides to this story.
Always look for different points of view especially on controversial issues like Israel/ Palestine before coming to a conclusion. That way you give yourself the best chance of avoiding being brainwashed by one-sided propaganda.
One sided propaganda is the way the extremists try to trick you into becoming intolerant and full of
hate.
Always lean towards those who argue for democracy and freedom.... that's the best guide as to who is on your side and being reasonable in their comments.

Israeli apartheid? Why did she then allow the Turkish translation? What rights do Kurds have in Turkey? What about the Armenian genocide denial, Turkey's ethnic cleansing of Greeks not only in Turkey itself but also in Cyprus?
