The heart of Judah has become so hardened that the toughest punishment only can make them acknowledge their sins. The first verse is a clear sign what kind of punishment will befall them. Our sins influences our kids, agree 100%. People putting trust in other human and sometimes in our own strength too.Instead of crying out to The Great IAM, we happen to say I can, I will etc..Verse 8 can be summed up as ...stay rooted in Christ and also reminds me of Sirach Chapter 2.Verse9 is what Mathew Chapter 15 says too ....For out of the heart comes evil thoughts...😢. Verse 10 in one line as you said ...Guard our hearts.This verse has so much to ponder on. Verse 13 is a prayer by itself also reminds me how Jesus who was the source of living water was rejected by His own. Heal me O Lord ...I always sing this hymn, but did not know it was from this Chapter. Verse 17 Jeremiah saying You are my refuge in the day of disaster.Such a beautiful verse...Indeed God is our hiding place, He will protect us from troubles and surround us with songs of deliverance.Thank you Father Warner❤

All of the words of all of the prophets refer back to the beginning when Cain out of pride and envy killed his brother Abel because he wanted to be favored by God but he did not want to do what Abel did and offer the best of himself in all that he did. Cain continued trying to see what he could get away with even when God spoke to him directly telling him that sin is a demon !lurking at the door yet he could be it's master. There are 7deadly sins. It only takes 1 to keep the spirit wrapped in a blanket of sleep. That is why there are 7 virtues to overcome them. We all have our demons to overcome. Every sin is rooted in a deadly sin, the only way to overcome deeply rooted sin is to pull the roots and be replanted and rooted in Christ

I like the unjust accumulation of wealth to the Patridge who hatches the chicks belonging to another bird 🐦 and is rejected.
Jeremiah, the Prophet was rejected by the Chosen People but he stuck to his role of being a Good Shepherd.

Thank you Father Warner for standing in The Gate like Jeremiah and speaking God's Truth in order to sanctify His people and call them Home. And Who is the Gate? Jesus the Christ so you are standing in Christ right where you are called to be as one of Our Lady's faithful husbands who will be her knights in shining armor clothed in Light Who is The Holy Spirit. Only Mary was born without original sin(in The Light) the rest of us are called out of the darkness and into The Light. Holiness is an acquired taste but once you fall in love with all that is Good and Holy you will never want to go back
