WataMote || Too Cynical

First take on an anime show! Yay! Does it count as my first real AMV?

So I'm expanding my channel to anime now. The reason for that is quite simple: I watch anime. I like anime. It only makes sense I would eventually start making AMVs for them. That being said, I'm not leaving Steven Universe behind. This is just something experimental for me that I want to try out. I think it's important for any editor to always try out new things. See what works for you, see what helps you become a better creator.
With this AMV I wanted to capture the feel of the song and make use of all the great visuals that WataMote has to offer to display the way I interpret the song. Hope you guys like it!

Wow...even having never seen this anime (yet) you really brought out an empathy for the desire and despair that the protagonist must be going through, just through the song and editing. Putting emotions into this in such a way is no less than a audio/visual work of art.

I just wanted to say thank you for making this AMV. it took me over a year but I finally got around to watching the 12 super brilliant episodes of watamote, no matter how I look at it it's you guys fault i'm not popular. I understand your song choice now and it's perfect. watamote is now one of my favorite animes, and I probably wouldn't have seen it without this video.

First time hearing this song, but anyway, I love Watamote and I love this video. Tomoko Kuroki is probably the fictional character I most identify with. Keep up the good work, I also loved the Steven Universe videos you've made, fan art from my favorite shows ^_^
