Kevin Moore was a master of sculpting atmosphere with his music. Something I always wonder is just what Metropolis Part II would have been like if he'd still been in the band at the time.

Nice to see this uploaded, Kevin Moores collection is some of the most comforting music to me.

Sad sad movie is one of those songs which never gets old.

It is so funny to discover that it was not Portnoy who influenced the iconic sound of early DT but Moore... and even stranger that recently many people seem to discovered the same thing!
Sherenian at least continued in the footsteps way closer than Rudess - many stuff on Metropolis Pt. II, including keys, was already written when Rudess joined.
It seems like DT lost with Moore the same original feel as Genesis did when Gabriel and Hackett left. The spirit sadly didn't carry on... This kind of melancholic feeling of "what could have been if..." is perfectly encapsulated in this album somehow...
