I could shorten this video to all of about 1 minute.
"Could Russia best the NATO forces with artillery? No."

Hi, active army veteran here and 13B. I was a howitzer section Chief on the M119A2 and A3, I assure you we do train on direct fire for EVERY certification we have to pass to time standard semi-annually. I’ve trained with the Kiwis, Aussies, and Canadians. They all have degraded direct fire scopes on light infantry. I can’t speak to the Paladin on direct fire scopes, but all US light artillery use degraded ops sighting for direct fire and I’m sure they have it as a battle drill as well. *corrected for typo*

Russia is the real life equivalent of spending all your money on the cheapest weapons in a video game so you can have more of them and increase your power level so you look stronger than you actually are.

A point to consider - the war in Ukraine is quite unlike anything any NATO force is trained to fight, because of the lack of air power on both sides. Neither side can effectively suppress enemy air defences. It's hard to imagine an actual NATO/Russia conflict where NATO didn't have air superiority, which would make massed artillery fire pretty close to suicidal.

This video doesn’t take into account how much those Russian artillery guns will be silenced by overwhelming air superiority from NATO

Russia: "We have fierce tank-destroying robot vehicles. They are almost ready. We're just waiting for the microchips we ordered, then, watch out! Should be here any day now." * crickets * “ Any time now….Still waiting. Boy, you guys are going to get it….Soon. I’m warning you!”

Seeing how "effective" they have been thus far, I'd make the wildest of Guesses and say:

No.

Before the war with Ukraine, Russias military was highly regarded as one of the most powerful on earth. Now I’m pretty sure the deer hunters of America are a superior force.

American anti tank weapons can cut through Russian tanks like if it was made of aluminum

The real question should be, how long would Russia last against NATO. One hour? One Day? One Week tops?

This doesn’t account for massive and overwhelming NATO AirPower. Mass artillery simply wouldn’t be possible behind a short duration due to precision attacks on supply chain and artillery systems.

Well, the answer to this is no. To assume NATO would just get engage in WWII style is ignoring every advance made. It also ignores the air warfare disparity between Russia and NATO. Artillery isn't worth a nickel if it's bombed to oblivion.

As a former Marine Artilleryman I can tell the M777 is no joke it's very modern advanced.

Short answer... no. Long answer... no, but with charts and graphs.

We only need to look at Operation Desert Storm to see how effective reliance on artillery and armor would be against NATO forces. This whole video is based on the premise that NATO would let itself get dragged into an extended artillery fight, when NATO standard practice has been overwhelming airpower for SEAD and establishing air supremacy, then hunting down artillery and armor so that infantry forces can move in. Russia has never fought that kind of war, and while their air forces look pretty strong on paper, Ukraine has showed us that "strong on paper" doesn't mean much when the shooting starts. Russia would be fielding dozens of planes with barely-trained pilots against hundreds of NATO planes, flown by extensively trained pilots. Russia would be lucky if their artillery even got a chance to engage in fire missions.

AC 130 with air support has entered the chat 😂

Johnny Depp has a better chance of getting back together with Amber Heard than this happening.

Short answer, yes.... But only if we stood there and let them hit us. But Russian arty is shorter ranged, less accurate, and ancient. Truthfully, though, NATO's air forces would likely negate the russian artillery effectiveness. They don't have enough AAA to handle NATO air power.

our air dominance would destroy their artillery plus our artillery outranges theirs and is more accurate
