I think in coming movies, Godzilla should devolve and preserve energy. (Whether he is tired or felt satisfied) And have an antagonist arise and take his place as alpha.(It could cause problems in balance and maybe form a somewhat dictatorship in the world.) Godzilla would fail and he would need a redemption arc. Further more, it could be another gojira, waking up and taking control when godzilla is weakest. This will spark the g mans ego, but making him fail for at least one movie is huge character development. Maybe he will need to call on friend or expand his comfort zone. I dont know, but I think this is a good idea on how to bring the movies back to ground a bit. I recognize that the franchise is becoming more fun, and that is perfectly fine. But i think its starting to float away from reality.
