You should try cornbread recipes in a waffle maker. So good. You get lots of crispy edges and you can use it like a sandwich.

For years I've made jiffy cornbread mix with canned or homemade chili, just pour in the middle then bake, it swells up over the chili. So good! Love these too! Thanks 😊

Oh my goodness bacon pimento cheese muffins…. I’m making those!!! Some jalapeños just aren’t that hot. They can really vary. Another thing you can do if you don’t have buttermilk is make sour milk - a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice in a cup of milk, sit out for 5 min. It gets thickish and tangy and works great. And yes I have grabbed stuff out of the oven to add something I forgot. Great video! Thanks

I made Jiffy cornbread muffins. I followed directions on box ( I used 2 boxes) then I added 1/3 cup of sour cream, 2 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp flour. When done I cut them in half and smeared them with my whipped honey butter. They were so good!!!

Corndog casserole.. 2 boxes jiffy cornbread.. shredded cheese. Jalapeños. 1 package hotdogs sliced.. mix and bake.. It is soooo good...

Made the Chili and cornbread casserole for dinner. It was delicious. I added some chopped jalapeño to the cornbread and in place of ground beef mixture I used some leftover pulled pork chili.

I love the Jiffy Cornbread mix. I'll probably be making the Jalapeno muffins for my husband because he loves that. We used to be able to find the square ones already made but haven't found them lately. The homemade ones will be so much better, I'm sure. Also, the chili on top of the cornbread, Oh my. You know this is a great recipes. I am going to try it with lots of onions and mashed potatoes as one layer (mashed on bottom corn bread in middle and that great looking chili on top) YUM
