I've just spent the best part of the last three days with my hand on the microscope and my eyes on the computer screen ;-) . I've been photographing the varied universes I am seeing in the soils of Australia, that I collected on my recent trip, and I'm not even halfway done with my investigations! For the authorities not to focus on the importance of the fungi and the other microbes in the soil, is yet another crime against humanity, and not just against humanity, but all life! I know regenerative soil is becoming more popular, case in point; my family pulled me away from my microscope and computer, this week, for just long enough to watch a new movie, and I learned that, Laura Dern's character in Jurassic World Dominion, 2022, Ellie Statler's new job title was Regenerative Soil Scientist! Dr. David Johnson gas been recently discussing the velocity of carbon in formal presentation which appears less a function of dumping on compost & more a function of adding micrograms of the broad variety that appears in the clay-like material (worm castings) that is the end product of his reactor process when managed successfully.

Not all compost is created equally.
